Contender: Blue Buffalo Dog
Some friends found a gourmet hot dog joint, and alerted me to the blue buffalo dog. Clearly, this needed to happen. So one fine Friday night, my loving husband picked me up a dog on his way back from an art stroll.
The menu says “Sabrett, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Buffalo Wing Sauce, Green Onion”. I was excited about trying something a little off the beaten path. I like all the ingredients, so why not? Sadly, when my buffalo dog arrived, there were no green onions to be found. I was disappointed, but I persevered.
The bun was kind of dry and meh. The hot dog was OK, but a bit rubbery, even by hot dog standards. I did very much enjoy the addition of the blue cheese and wing sauce. It’s a bold menu option to throw out there, so I definitely give points for creativity. I really missed the green onions. I think the dog would have benefitted greatly from something green and crunchy, so I’m a little sad I didn’t get to experience the whole thing. It also admittedly may have been better if I had eaten if fresh off the press rather than after a 15 minute car ride. Nonetheless, I must rate it.
Portion: Wanted a bit more

I MUST HAVE IT!!
